Go-Ahead Bayern (Bavaria) will start running trains in southern Germany at the end of 2021.

Go-Ahead Bavaria has been granted a train operator’s license by the Bavarian State Ministry for Housing, Building and Transport.

As a result, Go-Ahead Bavaria (Bayern) can now press on with plans to run train services from Munich via Memmingen to Lindau from the end of 2021, on behalf of the Bavarian Railway Company and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Transport.

In the following year, it will add regional routes to its network around Augsburg, including routes to Munich, Ulm, Donauwörth and on to Aalen and Würzburg.
