SLC Rail now accredited under three ISO standards

SLC Rail, which specialises in developing third-party rail schemes, has been awarded three internationally recognised ISO accreditations.  

Following an audit by Alcumus ISOQAR, SLC Rail has achieved accreditation for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, as well as reaccreditation for the ISO 9001 standard. 

ISO 14001 is the International Standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS), ISO 45001 is the latest international standard for occupational health and safety management, while ISO 9001 is the International standard for Quality Management Systems, replacing the old BS 5750 part 1.

In order to achieve this accreditation, and meet the high standards required, SLC Rail worked with health and safety strategic partner Gateway Consultants to lead and support behaviour and cultural changes.
