These Awards are presented annually to companies and organisations recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice, chosen from the almost two thousand entrants that RoSPA receives.

Chris Darlow, Dyer & Butler’s rail director, commented: “First class health and safety values and practice is a prerequisite for our sector. This award from RoSPA reflects, once again, the effort and commitment of all our people, particularly those teams on our operational sites throughout the UK who are working round the clock in often challenging conditions.

“Moving forward, our objective is to continue to deliver exceptional health and safety performance on behalf of our people, our clients and all those who come into contact with our organisation.”

Achieving an Order of Distinction is a firm demonstration of our rail division’s commitment to health and safety and the reinforcement of our values in delivering safely for our people and our clients.

“Whilst it is right to stop and celebrate our achievements, the hard work to maintain our standards will continue to ensure that everyone is ‘Safe by choice, not by chance’.”
