Karl Oberreiter, the former head of global service at machine-tool manufacturer Emco, has taken over as head of service and support at Robel Bahnbaumaschinen from long-time incumbent Richard Strauss, who has been with the company for 48 years.
A native of Salzburg, Oberreiter spent 17 years with lifting experts Palfinger before joining Emco in 2018.
He now looks forward to using his expertise to manage the increasing demand for maintenance and overhaul of Robel’s track construction machines.
“Our purpose is to provide assistance to our customers over the entire life of their machines,” he said. “Robel is already well-prepared to do this – now we have to support our customers into the future.”
