Infrarail 2020 set to be UK’s premier rail industry exhibition

Infrarail 2020 will be held at Olympia for the first time.

Infrarail 2020, the UK’s leading showcase of railway infrastructure technology and expertise, is already attracting a host of both national and global exhibitors.

To be held for the first time at London’s Olympia between 12 and 14 May 2020, the 13th Infrarail comes at a complex time for the industry. Brexit, Network Rail’s devolution, delays to the start of the CP6 infrastructure programme, all mean that there will be plenty to talk about.

Innovation of all types will be on show at Infrarail 2020.

In addition, a growing number of new exhibitors are coming to this international exhibition for the first time, looking to show how their latest products will make the railway’s infrastructure safer, more resilient, sustainable and innovative.

Network Rail’s Signalling Innovations Group is a noteworthy addition to the Infrarail exhibitor list, as digital signalling and traffic management systems will play a key role in resolving capacity problems on the network.

Olivia Griscelli,
Infrarail exhibition director.

Olivia Griscelli, exhibition director for Infrarail 2020, said: “The exhibition provides an excellent networking opportunity for buyers and sellers in the industry. It follows on the success of the 2018 edition, which saw over 210 exhibitors and around 5,000 visitors from over 40 countries, with many high-level speakers from government and industry outlining their vision of the future of the sector.”

All the major government bodies, institutions and associations, such as Network Rail, High Speed 2 (HS2), the Railway Industry Association, Birmingham Rail Research Centre, Rail Alliance, ERCI and CPD Certification Services will again offer their support to the high-level event.

Feedback from exhibitors is positive too, with 94 per cent of them receiving strong business enquiries in 2018.

Infrarail 2020 is organised by Mack Brooks, part of Reed Exhibitions. More information for both visitors and exhibitors can be found at www.infrarail.com.
