Emma Haddow, who has worked in the piling and ground engineering sector for over 20 years and has significant experience in design, project delivery and commercial management, will lead Cementation’s operations in Scotland, the north of England and UK wide Ground Engineering services.
The appointment is with immediate effect, as part of which Emma joins Cementation’s leadership team.
She moves into the role following three years as Cementation’s business stream director in Scotland, as part of which she played a pivotal role in increasing Cementation’s presence in the market. Emma has helped to secure and deliver key projects, including the South Clyde Energy Centre in Glasgow and The Keystone Building at Glasgow university.
In 2024, Emma was named one of the Top 20 Women in the sector by industry publication Ground Engineering.
Following an early career with Cementation Skanska, Emma re-joined the business in 2022. “Since returning to Cementation Skanska three years ago, Emma has made a significant contribution to the business,” said Cementation Skanska managing director Andy Entwistle.
“This includes building trusted relationships with our customers and leading delivery of key projects, including the South Clyde Energy Centre – our biggest ever scheme in Scotland.
“This internal appointment highlights our ability to promote from within, recognising the skills, capabilities and quality of our great people.”
In her new role, Emma Haddow heads up Cementation’s operations in Scotland, the north of England (above the A66) and UK wide ground engineering services.
