Unipart Rail and Racine Railroad Products announce strategic partnership

Unipart Rail and Racine Railroad Products UK have announced a new strategic partnership at InnoTrans 2024.

Racine Railroad Products, a pioneer in innovative rail maintenance products, is a division of Racine Railroad Products Inc., which has been designing, manufacturing, and servicing quality maintenance-of-way equipment since 1970.

The new partnership will introduce a range of ground-breaking new battery-powered tools for the maintenance and enhancement of the rail infrastructure, all of which are approved by Network Rail.

Designed to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety in railway operations, the new tools offer a sustainable approach to operations by reducing the reliance on traditional power sources. They incorporate a variety of unique features for all rail requirements including interchangeable batteries – one battery fits all tools – and a lightweight and ergonomic design.

The tools are all portable, allowing maintenance teams access to even the most challenging and remote locations with ease, and they are all HAVS (Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome) tested in accordance with the relevant BS EN standard, therefore increasing safety for operators.
