Chris Elliott has been appointed to the position of Business Development Director – Rail Systems at Sella Controls.
Due to the significant growth in the company’s rail business, Chris will continue the development of the Rail Systems business area, specifically in respect of SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) and station information and security systems
Chris, who has been with the business since the current owners completed an management buy-in in 2007, has over 20 years’ experience in the rail industry. He commented: “Sella Controls has long been recognised as specialist integrator. When I joined the business, Sella Controls wanted to grow its rail business into new areas. Over the last ten years we have established Sella Controls as premier solutions provider of SCADA, Integrated Control and Telecommunications to the UK rail industry.”
Eddy Turnock, group sales director for Sella Controls, added: “The appointment of Chris to this role is a major boost for the Rail Systems business and I look forward to working with Chris to develop the business further into the UK and international rail opportunities.”
