Karen Jackson has joined the team at Rail Forum Midlands (RFM) as programme delivery executive, leading on events and communications as well as supporting various of the Forum’s wider initiatives.
She moves over from train leasing company Porterbrook, a long-time supporter of Rail Forum Midlands, where she worked as communications and engagement assistant, managing the company’s events programme as well as assisting with internal and external communications.
It’s a big change for Karen, who was with Porterbrook for 26 years. She said: “I’m very excited to join the RFM team. I have worked alongside Elaine at a number of events over the last four years and know the team really well.
“I am really looking forward to building relationships with RFM members and stakeholders and keeping them up to date on industry news, as well as delivering a great programme of events.”
Rail Forum Midlands chief executive officer Elaine Clark commented: “I’m delighted that Karen has joined us. She brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the industry and will be a great asset to the team.
“I’m sure members will join me in welcoming Karen and wishing her the best of luck in her new role.”
