The Artic city of Murmansk, home to 300,000 people, has been cut off from the rest of Russia by rail after the collapse of a railway bridge.
The bridge, which provides the sole rail access to the city, collapsed on Saturday 30 May due to high water levels in the Kola river caused by rapidly melting snow.
The road bridges over the river are still standing. Trains are stopping short of the bridge and passengers are completing, or starting, their journeys by bus.
No injuries have been reported, though there was supposedly repair work being carried out on the bridge at the time.
