InnoTrans 2020 had to be postponed last week after the Berlin state senate banned all gatherings of more than 5,000 people until 24 October 2020 because of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. InnoTrans had been due to take place 22-25 September.
Now, as Rail Insider predicted at the time, the world’s largest rail industry exhibition has been rescheduled for 27-30 April 2021.
Kerstin Schulz, director of InnoTrans, said: “The health and safety of exhibitors, trade visitors and all the employees at the trade fair have the utmost priority. For this reason, InnoTrans will take place from 27 to 30 April 2021.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank our exhibitors at InnoTrans for their cooperation and loyalty.”
