Dr Yoanna Moguel has joined Mott MacDonald as principal asset management consultant, a new role intended to expand the company’s transport asset management capabilities.
An experienced asset management consultant specialising in asset management advisory, risk management, lifecycle modelling and analytic-driven performance improvements, Yoanna is a qualified physicist and engineer. She has delivered a wide range of asset management projects in the UK and overseas and has recently contributed to nationally significant projects across the UK at Heathrow Airport, the Transport for Greater Manchester Metrolink and in rail projects for Wales and Borders franchise and Network Rail.
Mott MacDonald’s global practice leader for asset management Sean Horkan commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Yoanna to our growing team of Transport-focused Asset Management consultants. Our ‘seven strengths’ approach to Asset Management broadens our remit to ensure we support our clients to bring together the people, processes, technology and data to deliver high-performing infrastructure. Yoanna’s appointment marks a period of new growth in this area, in collaboration with our international network of specialist engineers and consultants.”
Yoanna Moguel is looking forward to her new challenge: “Technological advances, changing customer expectations and growing concern for more sustainable services are driving the transport industry to become smarter, cleaner and safer. To address this, we must improve the current approaches to infrastructure asset management strategy and planning. I’m looking forward to working with Mott MacDonald Digital Ventures and asset management experts around the globe to enable our clients to gain better value from their assets.”
